The hydrocarbon resources of the Benevento field identified by Delta Energy Limited were recently independently assessed by a highly respected International geological and petroleum reservoir consultancy. The size of the field makes it the 3rd largest in southern Italy after Tempa Rossa and Val d’Agri oil fields and it is possibly the largest remaining undeveloped hydrocarbon accumulation onshore. The technical and economic evaluation has been undertaken by CGG Services (UK) Limited utilising personnel that have in excess of ten years’ experience in the estimation, assessment and evaluation of hydrocarbon reserves.
