Steve Edgley
CEO
Steve is an experienced oil and gas profesional having worked in the sector for 30 years. For many years Steve was Head of Oil and Gas at Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2003 Steve became a founder shareholder and Finance Director of Caledonia Oil and Gas, a privately backed E&P business. In 2007 Steve joined Valiant Petroleum, a UK E&P business, as CFO and was involved in taking the company through a successful IPO.
Don Ferguson
Operations Director
Don has over 30 years experience in the international upstream oil and gas business. Originally a Petroleum Engineer for Conoco U.K., Don has subsequently worked for a number of companies in a variety of countries. Don was also a founder shareholder and Executive Director of Highland Energy and Caledonia Oil and Gas.
Jon Treen
Business Development Director
Jon has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry. From 1998 to 2002 he was the International Business Development Director for CalEnergy Gas. In 2003 he became Commercial Manager for Caledonia and in 2005 was the General Manager Exploration and Business Development for E.On Ruhrgas UK. From 2007 he was a Business Development consultant to a number of independent oil and gas companies. A geology graduate, Jon was then trained as a petroleum engineer with British Gas.
Raffaele Di Cuia
Technical Director
Raffaele is a geologist by background specialised in oil and gas business, with more than 23 years international experience in the E&P activity.
Raffaele has a B.Sc in Geology from university of Ferrara and a M.Sc Royal Holloway College (University of London) and he is a specialist in the evaluation of carbonate and fractured reservoirs. Raffaele has worked previously for Arco British Ltd in UK, Fina in Italy, Total S.A. in France and GEPlan Consulting in Italy.
Antonio Pica
Italy Manager
Antonio is a Geologist with over 40 years of experience in the hydrocarbon exploration and production sector gained in Italy and abroad. He began his career in the E & P industry with Agip in 1981, from 1986 to 1998 he worked for LASMO where he held various positions in Italy, London and Vietnam where he was Exploration Representative.
From 2004 to 2017 he was General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Sviluppo Risorse Naturali/Irminio and from 2017 to 2020 he collaborated with Gas Plus where he followed the development of two gas fields in the Black Sea sector of Romania.
He has a degree in Geology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
